The Bay Area tends to love the outdoors and good wine. Meghan and Brian embraced these two favorite Bay Area pastimes at their gorgeous Shakespeare Garden Wedding in San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park followed by a reception at Dogpatch Wineworks.
It was a joy to photograph the couple’s first look as Meghan descended into the fern grove in her fitted lace gown. As natural light wedding photographers, we were really in our element in the park. The sunlight peeking through the trees gave an extra shine to the beautifully crafted and colorful bouquets carried by the bridal party.
Following their first look we made our way over to the garden for their ceremony. This elegant and open setting of the garden allows ample opportunities for unique and beautiful ceremonies. Classical music by a live guitarist and cellist fill the space as guests took their seats.
After the ceremony, we made our way to Dogpatch Wineworks for their reception. The moody lighting allowed the bistro lights that were strung about the room to highlight the lush centerpieces at each table. After dinner, Meghan and Brian were game for exploring the neighborhood surrounding the venue, which led to the opportunity to get a ton of fun couples photographs. These little jaunts always give us a chance to get some extra special shots. It was a night filled with fun, laughter, food and family, love (and don’t forget wine) and we are very grateful to have been there to photograph it all.
